    Summary
The victory of 9. IX. 1944 opened a new era both in the socio-political development of the Bulgarian people and in the development of Bulgarian science. The people's power, the Bulgarian Communist Party have always emphasized that the construction of a socialist society is impossible without the comprehensive development of all branches of science and are constantly making efforts to create the necessary conditions for its flourishing. And if the natural, mathematical, technical sciences were harnessed to the creation of the material base of society, then the humanitarian sciences had to contribute to the formation of a new consciousness, of new moral, ethical, philosophical views in people - builders of socialism and communism. Hence the special importance of science, which deals with the problems of literature - one of the most active factors for ideological Education and re-education, for the creation in man of a new worldview, a new socialist worldview.

    Summary
Geo Milev's theoretical views on the nature and essence of theatrical art, on the development of Bulgarian theater, as well as his manifestations in the field of directing continue to attract the interest of researchers. The plays he staged, although few in number, were realized in different periods of his life and on different stages: from the attempts in Stara Zagora to stage "Oedipus Rex" by Sophocles in 1915 to the stage of the "Renaissance" Theater as a director of the play "Massachovek" by Ernst Toler in 1923. Some of the rehearsed plays did not see the lights of the stage for the first contact with the audience.

    Summary
The establishment and development of the Institute of Literature is a result of the successful implementation of the socialist revolution in our country. For the first time, research work on the thousand-year-old Bulgarian literature became a state affair: through systematic and purposeful study, its riches are made available to the widest layers of the people in the interest of their cultural elevation and spiritual enrichment. The Institute is called upon to develop literary science in its diversity, to improve its capabilities and, more actively, to support the flourishing of our contemporary fiction and to raise the artistic consciousness of the builders of socialist society.
