Stoyan Stavru is a Bulgarian lawyer and philosopher. Doctor of Civil and Family Law (2009, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", with the topic of the dissertation "Legal Essence of Easement Rights According to Bulgarian Legislation") and Doctor of Contemporary Philosophy (2015, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", with the topic of the dissertation: "The Human Body between Embodiment and Convention. Contemporary Perspectives"). Doctor of Philosophical Sciences (2021, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, with the topic of the dissertation "Moral Dimensions of Property in an Ecological Context (Towards a Justification of a "Proprietary" Ecology"). Lecturer in "Biolaw" (the first in Bulgaria) and "Medical Law" at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" (since 2010), at New Bulgarian University (2008-2020) and at Plovdiv University "Paisiy Hilendarski" (since 2019).
